Factsheet MOSH and MOAH

The Dutch oils and fats industry is committed to food safety and food quality standards. All oils and
fats are subjected to the most stringent safety and quality controls throughout the production process,
from raw material to the final food product. MVO members closely monitor their products and take
the appropriate measures to limit contamination. This also applies to MOAH (mineral oil aromatic
hydrocarbons), substances that can contaminate ingredients and final products throughout the whole
supply and production chain.
